Monterey Bay Aquarium. Since I haven't seen Atlanta's, I'm not in a position to argue. Situated on Cannery row, it was built in the shell of the old Hovden sardine cannery.

I airbrushed out the words "Hovden Cannery" on one of the information signs, and the jellyfish on the banners.

These are tough little buggers to photograph, as the lighting is low and THEY MOVE! The shots above were both taken at ASA 1600 (as far as my current camera will go) with the lens wide open and shutter speeds around 1/30 to 1/70. A little too slow for hand-held, but then even on a tripod you still have a moving subject. Flash will freeze them, but then you lose the background colors.

You'll note the top of the flag pole is gone -- don't want to make this too easy... Soon we'll return to scenic views, I reckon....

Where is this building, What is it? When was it built?

The location of this building is a town discussed elsewhere on the Forum today... and it's slogan is "City of Excellence"...and a rare variety of wolves is known to hang out there....

That is the Pueblo County Courthouse in Pueblo CO. Built 1908-1912.

Moved inland about a half mile a decade ago due to beach erosion worries.

Move was somewhat of a high-stakes game of Jenga (for those familiar with that game)... brick lighthouse, held together by mainly gravity, pick up and move?!?!?

Mark, I have to confess - I know my way around Google. City of Excellence nailed that one for me, and I guessed that it was a courthouse, confirmed by pictures. I also have some posts in that thread.
