    Default It's a Capitol Building

... which means the answer's narrowed down to 50 possibilities. Actually, not NJ or NY so down to 48 (less whichever ones you know!) ...

    Default That's weird

It sorta does look like the Nevada capital building -- so it must be a similar architect....

    Hmmmmm

    Default Iowa State Capital Building

My eyes are now crossed.... Been looking at a lot of photos of capital buildings.

But I think we have a "winner". In Des Moines, Iowa!

Good work Peter, -- that was a toughie!

    Default Let's Play Ball!

Where is this? And why would we care?

That's too easy - it's the Field of Dreams in spring before the corn gets tall.

Default That would be the "Field of Dreams" field?

    Somewhere in Iowa?

Here's what IMDB says about it in their trivia section:

The studio built the baseball diamond on an actual farm in Dyersville, Iowa. After the filming was completed, the family owning the farm kept the field, and added a small hut where you could buy inexpensive souvenirs. As of 1990, visitors were free to come to the field and play baseball as they please.

    Default Yep, You're Both Correcto

After that brain puzzler thrown at us by Peter Thody, I thought we deserved an easier one...And that fact that it was also in Iowa, seemed fitting somehow. Here's more about the site. Gerald Thurman visited it and reports that, in fact, anyone can go out and play on it. It' s near Dyersville, Iowa.

Build it, And they will come... And they still do!

    Default That's pretty neat

It's interesting that a film succeeded in generating such a feeling and perception. I know of several who have gone there... and played catch or part of an actual game.
