    Default 'Nother Utah location?

OK then, I've heard of a "knife edge" segment of trail leading to the summit of Mt Timpanogos (sp?) in the Wasatch Range just east of Provo, UT. The rest of the scenery doesn't exactly scream "Wasatch Range" to me, but heck, I'll try that.

Absent a revelation, epiphany, or vision overtaking me, I'm stumped on this one beyond what I've guessed thus far.

Default Continental Divide Trail in Colorado?

There are at least two sections of the Continental Divide trail in the Rio Grande Forest in Colorado that could look like this point. So... are we getting warmer?

    You are getting warmer.

    Default San Juan National Forest

    OK....

It is the Continental Divide Trail though? I've never seen this -- but this certainly sounds like the "Knife Edge" trail near Sawtooth Mountain....

It's not on the Continental Divide Trail. Or in San Juan National Forest.

The Knife Edge trail sounds interesting, I will have to check it out someday.

    Default Devil's Causeway

Ah, thanks for the hints.... Here's another photo... Near Yampa, Colorado From notes on a hiking guide site: "This section of the trail, called the Devils Causeway, is at one point only 4 feet wide with a 400-foot cliff on either side...."
