I was going to guess Sand Dunes NP, but I thought I remember the dunes there being more surrounded by mountains. Where in the park did you take that photo?

North of the Visitors Center and close enough to the large dunes so they hide the mountains.

Yup, it's Agate Fossil Beds in Nebraska.

Where is this?

Well, that looks like Wyoming range land and the teepee could be anywhere -- but there's a buffalo ranch just north of the Colorado/Wyoming border on the east side of I-25 and there are some teepees there... so maybe?

Looks like some hot stuff buried here, but what?

The sign at a military site would probably say office or officer instead of organization. The National Labs like to put their name on signs. The high level repositories at Yucca Mountain and Carlsbad bury stuff deep. These signs seem to warn that the bad stuff is shallow.

Perhaps the uranium mill tailing burial site south of Grand Junction, Colorado?
