@Buck : Come on, it should be an easy one, especially for an Arizonan like you!;-) It's a popular destination for a lot of Arizonans.

    Default Not Horseshoe Bend

Yes, I know I should know this, but it is not the obvious answer of Horseshoe Bend on the Colorado. Maybe I'm not as well versed as I should be on such matters.

    Default D'Oh!

Of course, it's Gooseneck State Park in Utah. Just had to let my mind relax and think in terms of what it was rather than where it was or what it was named. I must be getting a bit slow on the uptake.

    Default Renaissance Center

Detroit. It helps when one has seen the target in the flesh. So what's the sculpture in the foreground? I still have no clue as to the memorial(?)/sculpture on the waterfront.

    Default OK - The 'Memorial'

I believe that it's a new waterfront sculpture in Rocky Point (Puerto Peñasco), Sonora, Mexico. I've never been, even though my wife's cousin owns a condo there and my daughter, son-in-law, and grand kids go down all the time. Just goes to show that you can find just about anything with the web and enough time.

It's a monument in honor of the boxer Joe Louis.

Congrats! It's right in the center of town, by the waterfront.
