Toronto to New Orleans to Miami and stops inbetween

Leaving this coming Thursday on a nineteen day road trip. I have no set time line or route, only stops that I definitely want to get to are New Orleans and Miami. Would appreciate advice for things to see in between

I've heard Memphis is nice, Blue Ridge Parkway seems good too

I am unfamiliar with that area but here are some links to get you started some great info on the Blue ridge parkway, and This report and a Miami link..
It looks as though it's almost a full 4000 mile round trip plus diversions so you have 8-9 driving days leaving you plenty of time for exploring. Have a search of the forums and the Roadtrip planning pages [in the green bar at top of page] and gather up some info and lay out a rough itinerary and there will be no shortage of people to help you piece your trip together.

I went through Shreveport, Louisiana on Saturday Night. There are tons of casinos and what not in that area. From there to New Orleans is a 6 hour drive and since you have plenty of time I suggest Shreveport.
