Seattle, Wa to New Orleans

Hello Everyone! We are travelling from Seattle Washington to New Orleans and back from November 9th to November 23rd (our honeymoon). We are wondering if anyone has good advice as to routes to take, sights to see, any any other ideas. We would like to see as many states as possible on the trip and have seen some of the western states (Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho). We're excited and open to any and all suggestions! Unfortuantly, you really haven't given us enough to work with. You literally are talking about the western 2/3rds of the US, and there's just no way for anyone to randomly pick a list of places. There's too many options.

What are you looking to see, what sorts of things interest you? How much time do you plan to spend in New Orleans? Looking at it right now, you're going to be fairly crunched for time. Considering the distance, you'll need about 10 full days of driving (8-10 hours per day) just to cover the distance, so you might not have that much time to get off the beaten path.
