  1. Default National Park Fees Advice

    Hello all

After spending the past few months geekily looking at websites and maps (and creating a roadtrip folder, which has now become my new geeky hobby) we have a finalised itinery for our two week trip to the Southwest starting on July 1st.

I have had a search on these forums to answer to this and couldn't see anything, but apologies if this is covered elsewhere. We are visiting the following national parks on our trip (in this order):

    Joshua Tree
    Julia Pfeiffer Burns
    Seqouia
    Death Valley
    Zion
    Bryce
    Grand Canyon

Obviously we know we will be paying a fee to enter these parks, but is there a one-off fee you can pay in advance to get access to all of these parks? We are in Vegas for a couple of nights before we set off, so anywhere around there?

Thanks in advance for any advice
    John

    hello there.
for a one of fee of $80 you can buy a pass that will allow you into all parks. you can order on line [american citizen only,i believe] or you can purchase it at the park entrance of the one you first visit or from a n.p.s store. it is then valid for one year from date of purchase.
    have a great trip!!

    Hi,

I visit many national parks throughout the year and keep purchasing an annual pass that is valid for all the parks managed by the national park service. You end up saving a lot of money in the long run. You can purchase the pass at any of the entrances that charge a fee.

You're both stars, thanks for your help. I looked on the NPS website, but obviously not hard enough!
