It's a labor of love. I used to love camping, whether in a tent or an RV, and research is always fun if I enjoy the subject (and I do.)

Public Campgrounds along I-30, west to east. Unless otherwise noted, all campgrounds within 20 miles of the interstate. This is not an all-inclusive list; other campsites may exist.

    TX:

Cooper Lake State Park, Doctors Creek Unit, Cooper Lake
Lake Bob Sandlin State Park, Pittsburg
    Atlanta State Park, Atlanta (TX)

    ARK:

    Millwood State Park, Ashdown
Lake Catherine State Park, Malvern/Hot Springs

Yes. Some interstates are really short or don't have much to offer that is close.

Yes, I realized after I'd uploaded the western 84, that I had not gotten the eastern portion. I'd forgotten that it existed! (Sometimes our interstate system doesn't make much sense....)

    locally

    Stokes State Forest
