  1. Default Orville, WA to Las Vegas, NA, warmest route, need help to find low elevation map.

Hello, and thank you for your help. My ride will start in Orville WA, starting May 15th at 3:30 pm or on the 16th at 5:00 am, on a Suzuki motorcycle, heading to Vegas for a check-in some time on the 18th. I have been told that there is still snow at high elevations. So I need help to find low elevation routes. It is to dangerous especially to Ride at night so I expect to get 12-15 hrs of daylight of travel time. This will give me approximately 500-700 miles Each day. I can do some elevations if you think there will be no snow. I will be dressed for cold riding.

    Welcome to RTA!

Do you mean Oroville, on US-97 almost on the Canadian border?

I would not try to do more than about 500 miles a day, that will make this at least a 2.5 day trip. Before I can make specific recommendations, how many miles can you get on a full tank of fuel? The fastest way involves stretches through rural Nevada with gas stations few and far between. By the middle of May, I don't think you will have any snow or ice to deal with.

I don't have any local knowledge, but you need to find the best way to the Tri-Cities to pick up I-84. You can simply take that to I-15, or if you have enough range on your fuel tank you can pick up US-93 at Twin Falls, this cuts off a lot of miles but fuel can be critical, especially if you take the US-6/NV-318 "shortcut" from Ely to Alamo.
