Summer 2017 texas to las vegas

Hi Everyone,
i'm planning with my girlfriend to do the road trip from Dallas to Las Vegas in mid of July 2017 in 2 weeks

We have some ideas like Start from Dallas try to go down to New mexico then going back to Amarillo then Albuquerque
drive through (kayenta or flagstaff) and from there visit the Grand canyon and at the end spend some time in Las Vegas

Do you have some advices of what places we can visit?
it's enough time?

Hello and welcome to the RTA forums !

With 2 weeks you have a nice bit of time to do some exploring as you could drive from Dallas to Vegas in as little as 2.5 days. As for places to visit, we would need to know what your interests are. For example, what takes you into New Mexico and where is it, perhaps it would be easier to visit Amarillo first ? Personally I would find north of I-70 more interesting, going through Santa Fe into Southern Colorado and Utah where there is some outstanding natural beauty. A lot will depend on how much of your time you wish to spend in any one place, Dallas and Las Vegas for starters and how much driving you would enjoy.

Have a look around RTA for some ideas and study a good map and share your interests with us and then we can help put a trip together that suits you and not us.

i know its a lot time but i would like drive for 3 hrs and discover wherever its on our way and
what bring me to New Mexico?
i would like go to New Mexico for see the white sand and all the national park in the way
Our fist plan was end the trip to San francisco
But i want enjoy my trip and don' just enjoy the driving
anyway i will take a look to RTA and the maps
