Long road trip

Hi,
I am a 23 female with an urge to travel. I graduated from college 9 months ago and have been working at a decent office job. I don't really like my job, I want to quit and go on a road trip. My boyfriend had 3 weeks off in june and I want to go with him on this road trip. I don't think my employer will give me the time off,I really just want ti quit. I might have a job opportunity after I get back but it's not set in stone yet. I have no responsibles at home I live with my parents. I feel like this is the time to do something risky but I'm uncertain. I was also thinking I can be on the road longer than my boyfriend since he is in school still. I have a. decent amount saved and we are planning on camping the most of the time.
Any advice?

Hello and welcome to the RTA forums !

We can help with your road trip planning as and when the time comes, but decisions about your livelihood are one's you need to make for yourself and discuss with family and friends if needed. My advice would be that if you are not happy in your work then something needs to change, but personally I wouldn't jeopardise my income for a single holiday. You say "You don't think your employer will give you time off", well the best place to start is to ask. As a parent I do think that you do have a responsibility to yours, whether it be to help with the household bills when you can afford, or just to save for your own future as they help support you. Sure get out and explore and have fun, but in a responsible manner. I'm sure you will make the right choices as you are considering your options rather than jumping in the deep end.
