I'm from a country that would fit into Arizona so still trying to grasp the scale...plus we drive a lot quicker too..

I suggest you to to take 89A down through Sedona and get down to I-8 through the town of Maricopa. You can also visit Yuma, here you can find the historical Yuma Territorial Prison, it a nice place to spend some time.

Hi Lifey. We're spending a few days visiting family in Chicago,then 3 nights in Vegas after which we pick up car. So I've booked a night in Furnace Creek followed by 2 in Williams. Then we need a one night stopover before San Diego where we staying at Pier South resort for a week. Looks like how i've always pictured a Californian beech hotel
