Virtual Roadtrip Game!

I just came across a very fun an addictive Roadtrip Themed free online game.

The site is GeoGuessr.com and the concept is very similar to our Where in North America? game here on RTA. Basically, they take Google Map images and you have to guess where on the map they came from. The default version is for the entire world, although there there are also country specific versions for the US, UK, etc and even some city specific versions for places like NY, Philly, and London.

My best so far in the USA game is to get within 30 meters of the picture!

Just be warned, your productivity for the rest of the day may go out the window!

That's fun. Best so far -- only one time played -- was 62 miles away on the USA map.

I played the San Francisco map.... closest was 1.4 km.....
