We stayed at the historic Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas. It was used as the location for the "Eagle Pass Hotel" in the movie "No Country for Old Men". This was our nicest stay of the trip. Not only did the room have nice furnishings and high ceilings, but they served a cooked-to-order breakfast in the morning. It was situated on an old plaza where General Stephen Kearny declared New Mexico's independence from Mexico in 1848.
