I'll be going to Portland OR, from vegas, then taking I-80 all the way to 90 going into PA. So quite a while on I-80. Where is that huge truck stop?

Any advice as to good places to stop whether it be restaurants, or tourist places let me know. I am also trying to fig out the tolls across IL and IN, since 80-90 are 1 interstate for a while and this is where I think the tolls are.

I guess you mean Iowa 80 at Walcott, Iowa on I-80 just west of Davenport.

So is the plan to take I-84 from Portland to Salt Lake City, then I-80 east from there? I-84 alongside the Columbia River in Oregon is very scenic.

Where in PA are you heading? I'm guessing the Erie area, since that's the only part of PA you would get to via I-90.

I-80/I-90 through IL, IN, and OH are the areas where it appears you'll see tolls, but there could also be some other options for routes, depending upon your final destination.

How much time do you have for this trip and what kinds of "tourist places" would interest you? Have you checked out RTA's Map Center, which provides ideas for places to stop right along your route?
