Summer Road Trip from Denver to Cali to Tour Colleges with my Daughter

Traveling from Denver to Santa Clara, CA and planning to take I-25 to I-80, thru Wyoming, UT and NV. From Santa Clara, traveling to Southern California, all the way to LA. I would like to take our time to see as many sights as we can. Tips are appreciated for places to see along the way.

How much time can you take ? There are so many options between Denver and the west coast you could fill months, so it will be important whether it be 7 -10 days, a couple of weeks and so on. The best thing for you to do at the moment is to read around the forums and look at a good map and see what appeals. For example what takes you onto I25 to I80 while there is much to see in Colorado, Southern Utah and Arizona. Nothing wrong with your choice but if we understand what you want to achieve and in how long we can give more meaningful advice.
