Million Dollar Highway closed by rockslide

US-550 is closed at least through the weekend between Ouray and Silverton.

It's now partially open - from cotrip.org:

Red Mountain Pass is open only twice each day during rockfall work. There will be single-lane, alternating traffic through the work zone from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and again and from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The pass will be fully closed all other times until work is complete, possibly by mid-February weather permitting.
