  1. Default Charlotte NC - Boston MA - Toronto CANADA

I am looking for some advice on where to stop during our road trip. Our goal is to spend one night somewhere between Charlotte and Boston, spend two nights in Boston, and then head to Toronto. We would love to have some really great seafood and I was thinking that it might be worth our time to detour along the coast. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Welcome!

I would avoid the I-95 corridor between Richmond and Boston if possible. Take I-77/I-81/I-84/I-90, and a good place for an overnight which is roughly halfway would be between Hagerstown MD and Harrisburg PA, perhaps in Chambersburg PA.

If you want great seafood, you should be able to find something as good as any right in Boston or nearby. I don't think you would really have enough time to detour up the coast through CT, RI, or MA, and to do that would get you tangled up in the I-95 corridor. I think your best bet for great seafood outside of Boston would be north up the coast into NH and ME.
