I want to buy a minivan in Argentina or Chili. Any suggestions or offers?

Hey everybody,

Iīm currently traveling in the South of Argentina and Iīm trying to find a used minivan to go up North.
It may be an old one, a used one. I donīt care actually.
Does somebody has an idea where to buy it? It doesnīt has to be in the neighbourhood because I can take the bus till a specific spot where i could buy it from people who stop their trip. Argentina or Chili, just say the place :-)

I can't begin to tell you where you could go, and its a question that's probably too far away from the focus of this site to get the answer you are looking for.

In any case, I will remind you that it is quite possible that you would not be able to bring a car from South America to the US. It's unlikely that such a car would meet US emmission standards, not to mention, you'd likely be looking at pretty severe duties and taxes for attempting to import such a vehicle.

And of course, you've got the Darien Gap that would prevent you from driving into North America.
