Route 66 travel buddie(s) needed!

Hi, my name is Faye. I am from the UK, currently travelling the US and would love to do a road trip along route 66 to LA. Of course stopping at key places such as flagstaff for the Grand canyon etc. However I do not fancy doing it alone as although I can drive I am not use to the US roads so would prefer to join someone/people for the drive. Above all it would of course be more fun! I plan to leave NY Sunday 26th September, heading to Chicago. I am a solo female traveller who is happy to travel with guys or girls. More the merrier! I'm an easy going down to earth person who loves meeting new people. I have 2 months left to travel the states so would like to take around 2-3 weeks on this trip, I can be flexible on time. As I am backpacking I am not on a large budget but of course would share petrol costs etc

I am actually in Florida... but i really want to leave this state to explore other parts of the u.s.
I want also to travel economicly,... that's why i am looking for some people to share the rent of a car and the gas...

I would like to travel 2 or 3 weeks in oct.-nov.

Hi Guys
I am currently in Utah, Salt Lake City. Obviously on the other side to VA and Florida! I am now trying to plan a trip to the following major places in the West...Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore,Monument Valley, Bryce, Zion and Yosemite. Would be great to share the ride. I have only until the 19th November to travel to these places...does this fit in with your plans at all?
