My son and I observed a 2 tractor-trailer rollover/yard sale on the northbound side just a couple or three miles north of the Pass itself as we drove south on 31 October 2007. Coming down the Baker side, we "discovered" his truck has some form of governor. I plead the 5th where identification of the speed at which the governor kicks in at is concerned. Long, straight downhill highways can be very dangerous when combined with road-wear travelers whose destination is approaching. I remain chagrined about that even now, 3 years hence.
