Hey, I've got a 32' Fleetwood Southwind, Motor Home and a Jeep Grand Cherokee (pulling a 2 horse trailer- yes, with horse(s))
Need a driver(s) heading out of central NY- that's upstate, Finger Lakes Region..all the way to Northern Arizona.
You help me get where I'm going and I will help you get where you need to be.
this isn't going to be a hurried trip. The horse(s) need to rest their legs every 6-8 hours, and so does my back. Horse(s) will also need to get out of the trailer and stretch their legs at 19 hours, possibly sooner- we'll be keeping an eye out to see if they need a break sooner. I am not sure at this point if I will be bringing one or two horses; depends on if one is re-homed here before I leave.
I also have a female German Shepherd Dog. She gets along well with other females ( weirdly) but there are two vehicles, so if you need to bring your dog it could be do-able.
I'm still in the route planning stage and would love some input. Hope to head out mid-October.
There's plenty of room to sleep & cook, etc in the RV. At least one night will be camping at a horse friendly KOA with hook-ups.
Just ending a terrible marriage and worse divorce so help with gas is greatly appreciated. Will definitely be cheaper and more interesting than any other mode of travel!!
