  1. Default MOVING Cross country NY- AZ with horses

    Hi,
I could use some advice. I am driving a 32' Motor home, towing a horse trailer loaded with personal items ( minimal pottery equipment, art studio) and have my SUV towing my horse trailer with my 2 horses in it.
Coming from Central New York State and heading to Northern Arizona (unless I get hired at an RV resort/equestrian center in west Texas before I roll out of here)
Questions: what is the best route to take? My horses need to rest their legs (in the trailer) every 6-8 hours, and have to be let out at around 19 hours. I am in no hurry.
I am concerned about hitting bad weather, of course. It wasn't my choice to leave so late in the year; had to finalize a divorce before I could leave and then find a driver. Still advertising for paying passengers.
Any thoughts, input and advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank-you in advance.

When are you going? That could make a difference concerning which is the best route.
