    Default Was a dcTPP declared?

Ok. I just looked at the Sierra Webcam --doesn't look like much new snow has arrived yet.

    Were you the dcTPP?

The heaviest of the snow is predicted to arrive tonight and remain throughout the day tomorrow.

We are still waiting for confirmation, but it doesn't look as though there will be a DcTTP this year. It's likely that I got closest, but still 4 days out!

Default Quite a bit of snow settling.

The snow has arrived as seen on the High Sierra webcam. (Image updates)

    Default California needs the moisture

    Dave,

This is still nothing like the level of storm that the forecasters were gushing on about all last week.

But it does look a tad wetter out there.

Default Reported 2ft of snow in Tuolumne meadows.

Yes, it kinda falls short on what I was expecting, but now the view has cleared on the webcam there appears to be quite a bit of snow up there.

Thanks for adding the image, I have tried grabbing an image as I have before, but I am having no success.

    Dave.

    Default The bigger picture

This mornings image from the High Sierra webcam is much clearer and offers a nice view!

Not as much snow as I thought it might be, and it looks as though it will be cold and sunny for the next few days.

If you need more snow, check the areas to the east of the Great Lakes - some of the forecasts are showing up to 64 inches for Watertown and around 44 for areas south of Buffalo!

Hopefully no one shorter than 5'4" goes outside in Watertown, or they will not be seen :)

That is a tad bit of snow.

Mammoth Mountain in eastern California only got 50" of the white stuff. From the LA Times:
Mammoth Mountain has experienced its snowiest November since 2010, with a huge storm dumping nearly 50 inches on the Eastern Sierra resort earlier this week, the National Weather Service said Thursday.
Roads are going to be fun for sometime in Watertown!
