There has been a winter storm warning issued for the area and I see Glacier point has been declared closed for the season. (Rather than temporary closure)
Yosemite has not yet updated the official Opening and closures page at all for 2023 so I might give them a nudge! It seems to be the case that Tioga pass closed on November 15 at 5pm and that member liam2k04 will be the Dctpp (Darn close Tioga pass prognosticator) with their prediction of November 14 at 6pm....WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST
THURSDAY MORNING...
* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of six to
twelve inches above 9,000 feet. Additional snowfall three to six
inches from 8,000 feet to 9,000 feet. Winds gusting as high as
45 mph.
* WHERE...The Sierra Nevada from Yosemite to Tulare County for
elevations above 8,000 feet.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM PST Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility.

It looks like it's going to be a nice day in Yosemite considering the time of year!
There is snow on the way and although it could take us into the new year there doesn't seem to be a significant amount settling.
Speaking of the New year, I notice the Party hat has been taken out of the cupboard and placed on the RTA banner at the top of the page!

I am not really sure that we'll ever again see those famous "humps" -- The position of the new web camera would seem to preclude those humps forming again unless the snow accumulation was more than seven feet!
We may get a better idea with significant snowfall due over the weekend! Although the 'Hump' would be missed, I really like having an unobstructed view of Half Dome and the Valley!I am not really sure that we'll ever again see those famous "humps
On another note, the Official Yosemite Opening and closing page has (at last) been updated confirming the Tioga pass closed on November 15th as we thought and that member liam2k04 will be the Dctpp (Darn close Tioga pass prognosticator) with their prediction of November 14 at 6pm.
