Wow. That's gonna definitely mean some back-ups. That is a very heavily trafficked area with long-distance truckers!

I just drove to Memphis today, and I hit it at rush hour. Not only is the I-40 bridge closed, I-55 is all tore up in Arkansas. BIG mess. I use Google Maps on my phone for GPS, and it took me off onto the frontage road and saved me 10 minutes.

The eastbound lanes have been reopened, westbound lanes scheduled to be reopened August 6.
