I just didn't have time to check out all the clues and to think we passed Kluane National Park & Reserve in the Yukon coming and going in 1992 when we drove the Alaska Highway up to Alaska and back home!

Anyone who drives the Alaska Highway between Whitehorse and the Alaska border will travel right through the heart of Kluane National Park. The Al-Can hugs the shore of Kluane Lake for 35 memorable miles; there's not a lot of infrastructure for visitors, but the views? Oh, my!

Rivers come in a lot of different shapes and sizes, and they also come in different colors. There's a place that I've been where two rivers collide, creating a very interesting phenomenon. Several Native American tribes consider this place sacred.

Focusing strictly on the water, it looks like this:





This one is tricky because it breaks one of my self-imposed rules. This is NOT a place that you can drive to.

Anybody want to take a shot at this, and tell me:

Mark is absolutely correct, although I must say, I thought it was going to take more than ten minutes to solve this one! Then again the Confluence of the Little Colorado River with the Big Colorado River is a very memorable spot, so for anyone who has been there in person, it would have to be easy to identify! It's located on the Navajo Reservation, just east of Grand Canyon National Park, and while it's possible to hike down from the rim of the canyon, most people who visit arrive via the river, after braving some reasonably hairy rapids. It looks like this from above:
