Default RoadTrip America Turns 24 years old on Valentine's Day

The original ~ 50 pages that constituted the first version of RoadTripAmerica.com went live on the World Wide Web at about 3 pm PST on February 14, 1996.

It has been and continues to be an amazing adventure.

Here are some of the behind-the-scenes folks who keep the lights turned ON around here.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has joined us on this road trip adventure.

Talking to folks on RTA is something I look forward to every day. Thanks for including me in the "keep us going". It's fun! Happy birthday, RTA! (and to my oldest granddaughter).

Congratulations to everyone. Especially Mark and Megan. It has been amazing and so helpful. I know Margaret and i couldnt have done what we have done without all the advice from all you great people from RoadTrip America. We are so proud to be part of it.
    Thank you.

    Not just for you.

My 2001, 2004 and 2007, were just trips. I was trying to get to learn about North America. Was not aware of many protocols, and basically just hit the road, and went. Then I found RTA and the next 6 trips were real adventures. Best thing was that helpful suggestions were only a post away - no matter where I was. Wish I'd known about it much sooner.

    Thanks!

    Default Happy Anniversary.

A massive congratulations for starting, developing and continuing to make RTA the best resource 'out there' for Road trippers !! It will be 13 years this year since I first joined and I have never looked back. Not only have I learnt so much, we have had amazing trips, (thanks to the knowledge and info shared here) we have met some wonderful people along the way, including yourself and Megan who have become such good friends, as well as great hosts !

Here's to many more years ahead ! Cheers.

    Dave and Lezli.

(Sorry for delayed reply, we have just returned from our latest UK (mini) Roadtrip.
