Well.....we bought our plane tickets from Duluth Mn to Raleigh NC. We're going to pick up our rental car in Raleigh, ( i'm sure it wont be a Corvette) and start from there. Our plan is to drive to the Outer Banks, drive as far south as we can on the islands, and take the ferry back to the mainland.
We'll go down the coast to Charleston and spend some time there (Gulla tour, plantations, barbecue joints etc). From there, down towards Savannah for some touring (Civil War stuff etc).
(BIG EMPTY HOLE)
Towards the end of the trip we'd like to drive the ''Tail Of The Dragon'' in southwest NC, go visit Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Smokeys.
For the last part of the trip, we'll drive the Blueridge Pkwy to it's end up by DC., and back to Raleigh for our airplane ride home.
As you can see, theres a big empty hole in the middle of all this. Anybody have any ideas on how to fill it??
Thanks!!!
