• Vermilionville - Lafayette, Louisiana

      Vermilionville is a living history village that recreates early Arcadian and Creole life in Lafayette, LA. There are docents telling about music, weaving, quilting, school, and all other aspects of life in early Cajun settlements. There is an excellent restaurant on site.

      If you go:
      Vermilionville is open six days a week, Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Last admission is at 3p.m. Children (under 5) : Free There are various discounts for AAA members, military and some other organizations. It is handicap accessible.
