• Seacrest Wolf Preserve - Chipley, Florida

      Secrest Wolf Preserve in Chipley, Florida was founded by Cynthia and Wayne Watkins in 1999 as a sanctuary for displaced captive wolves. Seacrest is one of the few preserves in the country that allow up close encounters with wolves. They have about 12 ambassador wolves you can meet. There are 22 wolves altogether and some other small native species, including foxes, raccoons, skunks, and a pair of coyotes, Pecos and Wiggles.

      If you go:
      The preserve is open Monday through Saturday by reservation only. During Covid, they are only doing VIP Tours. There is a strict dress code posted at the website. For the safety of both persons and wolves. Children under 10 are not permitted to do the wolf encounter.
