The Museum Of Everyday Life is just about guaranteed to be the most unusual museum you ever will visit. Located in an old barn on an isolated country road, it houses a curious collection of the mundane and < quotidian, from scissors to matchbooks to toothbrushes. All of the items are old, rare, odd, fascinating, or some combination of the above. Particularly impressive are a violin and a roller coaster track, both constructed of matchsticks. There are also philosophical tracts and other things of interest. The museum is usually un-staffed and sparsely attended, so you likely will be the only ones present, which adds to the surreal atmosphere. The erudite but elusive staff also offers workshops and performances./div>
