The Cape Meares lighthouse is one of the smallest in Oregon, but the park around it is scenic and abounds with wildlife. The short hike to the light from the parking lot features a shady Sitka Spruce forest and lookouts to the cliffs and ravines on one side, and Three Arch Rocks on the other side. Whale watching is good during the annual migrations. Some say the lighthouse is haunted. It's only a short 28-step climb to the lighthouse.
