Follow one of the short trails through the mature forest of this hidden gem to Short Sand Beach in Smuggler's Cove and you'll be rewarded with a walk through a quite wonderful world of old growth trees, rich green flora and rushing creeks. The cove, littered with huge piles of driftwood, is one of Oregon's most popular surfing destinations.
