If you're traveling between the North and South units of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, call in at the pretty little community of Grassy Butte along the way and visit the old Post Office. Now on the National Register of Historic Places, this adobe-covered, sod-roofed log building was built in 1914 and served the community for 50 years. Mail is no longer handled here, it's now a charmingly ramshackle museum, packed full of fascinating relics of this part of western North Dakota.
