Bridal Veil Falls is a pretty tiered fall with two drops and is reached via an easy-to-moderate trail - about a mile each way - with a number of sharp switchbacks. The trail takes you to the foot of the lower tier but if you walk a little further there are lovely views of Bridal Veil Creek as it bubbles over the rocks. The state park offers parking and picnic areas.

      If you go:
In addition to the waterfall trail, there's an upper trail offering outstanding views from the cliffs of the Columbia River Gorge, including the Pillars of Hercules, a 120-ft basalt tower. Along the way there are interpretive signs highlighting some of the local flora.
