      Johnny Bench Exhibit
A future, elaborate museum to honor baseball legend Johnny Bench in his home town of Binger is still in the planning stages. But until it is built, you can browse the extensive collection of memorabilia Bench has donated in a more intimate setting, a room adjoining Binger City Hall. The items on display include his two World Series trophies, one of his Gold Glove awards, and a box of Wheaties with him on the package.

      If you go:
Admission is free, and generally the exhibit is open during business hours on weekdays. But the operator (who, incidentally, has known Bench for years and should have a story or two to tell) has been known to keep irregular hours, so call ahead.
