This summer's road trip led us north up 97 through Shasta country, and along the volcanic highway to the Columbia River. From there we were took Highway 5 to Seattle, and then to Vancouver, BC to catch our cruise to Alaska. On our return trip we caught Highway 101 to Astoria and down the Oregon coast to Coos Bay. From there it was back inland to Ashland, OR before heading home.
