After paying $4.099 per gallon at the least expensive station in California, $3.469 looked dirt cheap! It was as low as $3.369 in Grand Junction at the lower-priced places.
Looks like the same station we always use when we travel that particular highway. It's always one of the lowest, and plenty of swing-room for folks in RV's. Junction of US-6 and I-70 in Fruita, just on the outskirts of Grand Junction, right?
That is indeed the one. We were running on fumes and not familiar with the area, so we were glad to find it.
