Default Tioga Pass Closure --- Prognosticator

Since, we did such a good job with the opening of the pass last Spring, I thought I would try a new poll on when the famous route over the Sierra Nevada Mountains will close this year.

The Tioga Road opened for the 2006 season on Saturday, June 17th

Last year the Tioga Road closed for the 2005 season on November 25th

If you manage to choose the correct day (gotta identify it in a post below) I will purchase a tank of gas for you. (The post has to be made a minimum of 15 days prior to the closing date).

Plus, I encourage anyone wishing information about the other six passes to post intel here.

Nope, December 10. Going to be a cold and wet winter this year... going to be great kicking back in some remote cabin weathering the storms.

Well not sure if it's any indication but at least one of the roads in Yellowstone has been closed for the season today. We've been snowed out!

I heard it through the grapevine that it's going to close on November 27th, the Monday after Thanksgiving...
