According to this page on the NPS site, Tioga Pass is now open.

And while it may not be definitive proof, this page suggests that the park intended opening it on June 5th.

I checked and sometime recently, they posted it here. So, June 5th at 8:00 am is going to be the official opening time for the Tioga Pass Prognosticator #9.

Hello everyone again,

I can't believe it's been a year already. We had a wonderful time up in the Tioga Pass area fishing and hiking last year. We are planning on going up on the 'same' weekend this year (June 22 - 27), but it looks like we'll definitely have to be looking out for snow.

My guess is June 5th 8:00am.

That was posted on May 6, 2010 and that was an amazing stab to hit it exactly! Job well done! And Exodus's birthday was also June 5th - so double congratulations!

Phil Boardman was the 2009 Expert Prognosticator and Exodus is only the third person in nine attempts to accurate name this date.
