reports: Since the 1950s the Coke Man stood in front of a Montreal pastry shop. A few years ago, the owner of Le Géant Antique, a retail shop that sells antiques and reproductions of antiques, decided to buy the giant statue and use it as an advertisement in front of his store and restaurant in St-Anne-de-Sabrevois, a small town along the Richelieu river. I had a chat with him, and he said that he is thinking about repainting it and putting the name of his store on the statue instead of "Coke." The statue is nearly thirty feet tall. Update March 2025 (RTA): The statue has indeed been repainted. ![]() Photographed
