Zuni Coin Laundry at Zuni Pueblo, New Mexico
Photographed by Gerald Thurman of Tempe, Arizona
Zuni Coin Laundry

This mural adorns the wall of Whites's Coin Laundry in Zuni Pueblo, New Mexico. Most advertising murals are relatively humorless, so this one is delightfully unusual.

Update 4/16/06 from "Deb" -- "The artist's name is Arnulfo Pena, and he is from Corsicana, Texas. He also did several murals and
artwork in the Hawwiku Museum at Zuni Pueblo. You can
see more of his work in and around the Dallas-Fort
Worth area, or catch him at the Gathering of Nations
Powwow at the University of New Mexico every April…"

Update 1/26/25: We couldn't find an address for this location and are not sure that the mural is still there. If you visit this location and find that the mural is still there, please contact us at rta@roadtripamerica.com and we will update this page. We hope you enjoy viewing these mural pages as much we did when we originally found them. – RTA Writers Group.
