This vivid 14 x 20-foot mural
in downtown Las Vegas depicts a desert landscape
morphing into gigantic dice. It is roughly based
on the topography of nearby Red
Rock Canyon.
This is one of our favorite
murals in Las Vegas. Commissioned as part of
the city of Las Vegas Centennial celebration
in 2005, it's one of 100 murals either completed
or in progress.
This Henderson-based artist is currently working
on murals in Henderson and surrounding communities.
Location:
"Pyramid at Red Rock Canyon" is on
the east-facing wall of the Fremont Hotel &
Casino at 200 Fremont Street (adjacent to the
SW corner of Ogden and N. 3rd Street).
