Water Tank Train

This illusionary mural depicting a steam locomotive bursting through a real-life water tank is located on historic route 66 in downtown Kingman and was painted in acrylics in 2003. Notice how the water appears to be splashing out of the water tank. Local artist Sandy Rusinko is a member of the Mohave Artists and Craftsmen Guild. Ms. Rusinko has been a muralist since the 1980s and has been creating larger-than-life works in public settings for the last six years.

This mural is three blocks east of the Historic Route 66 Museum which is located at the old Powerhouse at 201 W. Andy Devine Avenue in Kingman, Arizona.
