Union Pacific seems likely, but what a cool photo and nice to see you here again!

Colorado Railroad Museum? Can't find any confirming pics of this particular spot, but the coloring and background fit
Yes, it is the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, Colorado.
Wow, that's a nice photo capture too.
With just a little Google searching, found... The Egyptian Theater in Delta, Colorado
Delta is one of our favorite places for roadside murals -- check out this beauty!
Mark
Yep. Good searching. I did a quick one myself and it didn't turn up right away, so I expected it to last more than 2 minutes. ;)
Missed the murals in Delta, unfortunately. But the theater was distinctive enough to pull over and snap the pic on my US-50 trip.
I'll throw up one more, another Waterfall:

Great visual clues here, a temporary building, a railroad trestle, a waterfall and other buildings.... Hmmmmmm.
Great, great photo capture. Here's a web cam from the park!
Obviously you got it right Mark. And for me it was another nice place to stop during the < snip > drive across South Dakota
I'll try one more, (at this time of the morning, at least it will take more than 1/2 an hour ;) )

A lot less background to go by. But where is this Lighthouse?
The last one has me stumped... so instead I'll add one of my own.
What is the name of this bridge?
What road did it carry?
What is the name of the body of water it crosses?

What a bizarre location for a lighthouse....
Unless it is in Maine?
This one is going to take some time....
Mark
Wow, what a cool angle and photo... hmmm, that seems like a short bridge-- that's tricky too....
Mark
The only reason why I was able to get this one was because this is the only remaining curved-span covered bridge in the US (almost the world).
It is Humpback Bridge, which crosses Dunlap Creek. It is outside Covington, VA, and the road I had to look up... James River and Kanawha Turnpike
This lighthouse was first ceremonially lit by FDR.
Mark Twain Lighthouse in Hannibal MO.
Let's see if I can slow you guy's down a bit, although I doubt it !

Where is this located and what is it called ?
Yeah, that was a good one -- and a good clue!
M
But I don't recognize the location-- hmmm.
Mark
But you are close.Quote:
I betting somewhere in New Mexico
The name of the mountain range to the East of this location, when translated in English is "Blood of Christ".
Quite apt in this case as another of the sculptures show.

I can't find the exact name for the building but it is generally referred to as the Sange de Cristo Chapel I believe?
It's the Shrine of the Stations of the Cross, overlooking the town of San Luis in Colorado.
This one really "got" me -- great job on the puzzle and the solution!
Mark
Well at least I got a bit of it, I guess. Reminds me somehow of Monserratt way up above Barcelona.
In the absense of another puzzle, here's another:

There are such structures in Solvang. And thanks for submitting a new puzzle, there has been a gap -- I've got a couple more in the wings....

Where is this? And what's famous iconic phrase will be forever associated with this view?
Thousands of people a week, saw this view during this period: 1978-1984
That "weekly" gave it up; I knew it had to be a TV show, so went into the Emmys for 1980 (in the middle of the run) and looked for suspects....
"Fantasy Island" picked up a nomination for Cinematography, a quick lookup of filiming locations in IMBD reveals (among other things) the
Los Angeles County Arboretum
wherein is found the
Baldwin Cottage AKA Queen Anne Cottage
in scenic Arcadia, CA.
Yep, that's the place:
A few more interesting things about this house -- it had a very, very fancy bathroom with flush plumbing, an extensive music room, parlour and bedrooms, but it had no.... kitchen. All of the food was prepared by the staff at the nearby Adobe house and delivered to the house!
Good work!

1) What is the name of this place?
2) Where was the photographer standing to capture this photo?
Mark
Is it the Rio Grande gorge [state park] ?
If so the picture was taken from the award winning Rio Grande bridge on the 64 not far from Taos.
