This tree near Awenda Camp Resort in Ontario, Canada,
is impressive in height, making it tough to attach
shoes by the traditional tied-shoelace-over-branch
method. But hey, that's when a few nails can come
in handy!
Closeup of shoes attached by nail -- most, we're
glad to note, are pairs. The tree is located just
outside Awenda Provincial Park near Penetanguishene,
Ontario.
Update March 9, 2025 (RTA): After extensive research, using
Canadian and USA mapping resources, we are no longer able to find this sign.
So, this page is really a historical record of what used to be found at this location.
