Bonnie, several folks have suggested routes and places to stop. Plus, there are ample suggestions of books and other resources -- I think you need to spend some time doing your own research at this point.

I agree with Mark. Planning a roadtrip can be just as much fun as the roadtrip itself. When you get a better idea of where you wanna go, come on back and we'll try to help you out with the specifics. Happy planning!

I'm just going to do some research on my own, like you said. My husband & I are going to sit down together & look at some maps & agree on some places we would like to stop at. Everybody had some really great suggestions thanks so much.
