The wonders of Kansas
I understand why someone would think that, but here is another point of view: Kansas is not only a beautiful state in its own geographical way, but it has a multitude of other attractions as well -- old west and great plains history, Indian history, Civil War sites, the Santa Fe Trail, cattle drive country, the birthplace and presidential library of one of our favorite presidents, & museums EVERYWHERE. There are Pony Express sites and my own favorite, Wichita, the "hometown" of general aviation. Like our fearless editor says, if you are bored with an area, or think there's nothing there, you're not looking hard enough -- or something like that. Bob

Good Timing
Bob,
Thanks for the quotes (I have to be careful about what I post -- snow at Carlsbad, indeed!), there is a new link on the Travelogs page that features a British roadtripper trekking around Kansas which is well worth checking out!

Alert
We may get it screwed up and twist your words and/or meanings tighter than a Missouri country backroad, but we ARE paying attention! :) Bob
